Gurugram:
Renowned NGO of Gurugram Jana Sewa and Sanskritik Chetna Manch has submitted a memorandum addressing to the Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal that demands withdrawal of the 75 per cent reservation law being implemented for local citizens in private institutions of the state.
The president of the forum, Randhir Rai, general secretary Shambhu Prasad, treasurer Rajesh, secretary Dilip Gupta, co-secretaries Sachchidanand, Ravikant Srivastava, Shekhar Kumar, Om Prakash, etc, submitted the demand letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram, Tehsildar, requesting it to the DC office. The reservation law should be repealed immediately after informing the Chief Minister about it.
“Through the letter of demand, we have made aware to Chief Minister Manohar Lal that by enacting a law for 75% reservation in local institutions in Haryana, lots of youths will face problems. It will have an impact on the livelihood of migrant citizens living in the state. Migrant citizens have played an important role in the development of Haryana,” said Randhir Rai President of Forum.
“Multinational and small and big companies of Haryana are operating with the help of migrant citizens coming from the Purvanchal area of India and the state is getting its benefits. Despite this, reservation laws are being enacted ignoring their interests. Making such a law is also fatal to the unity and integrity of the nation. There is anger among the citizens of Purvanchal society about the implementation of the law. In these situations, Sewa and Sanskritik Chetna Manch demand that the government withdraw the reservation bill immediately. If this is not done, the diaspora will be forced to launch an agitation for it,” added Rai.
