Gurugram. GL Sharma, a senior leader of Haryana BJP who has shown his electoral prowess in many states, has been given the responsibility of election in-charge in the Dalgaon Assembly of Assam this time.
Though Dalgaon assembly is a traditional Muslim dominated area and victory here is a challenge for the party, GL Sharma believes that this time BJP will do wonders here and will definitely win. He said that the picture of Assam is very clear, the BJP government is going to be formed again here.
The people will pave the way for development by re-stamping the development of the Assam government and the policies of the BJP. He exuded confidence that the people of Dalgaon from all over Assam will also ensure their participation in the government.
Earlier in many states, GL Sharma has carried out the responsibility of assembly election in-charge of the party. In the last Lok Sabha election, he was entrusted with the responsibility of election in-charge in Kosli Assembly under Rohtak Lok Sabha. Here the challenges for the party were no less, but the people of Kosli Assembly ensured their victory by giving a lot of blessings to the Lok Sabha candidate Anand Sharma of the party as a big lead.
Similarly, GL Sharma also showed his electoral skills in the Gandhinagar seat of Gujarat. Along with Jawalapur and Uttarakhand in Uttarakhand, he has done his job well in Delhi's Janakpuri Assembly. Dalgaon village assembly seat falls under Mangaldoi Lok Sabha constituency of Assam. Dilip Saikia of the Bharatiya Janata Party is the MP from this parliamentary constituency.
