GL Sharma Congratulated Omprakash Dhankar on being Selected as the President of Haryana State BJP
 
 

Dhankhar has wide experience leading the party in different positions

Senior BJP leader of Haryana GL Sharma has congratulated former state cabinet minister Omprakash Dhankar on being selected as the president of Haryana State BJP.

In a press release, Sharma said that Omprakash Dhankar is a leader with a lot of experience in government organization. After being in active politics for the last nearly three decades, Dhankar has implemented many important action plans for the party. For Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Dream Project Statue of Unity, he was made the National Co-ordinator for iron-soil collection.
 


Born in 1961 in Jhajjar district of Haryana, Dhankar has wide experience in teaching work for 11 years. Born in a peasant family, Dhankar joined social work in 1978 and since then he has been in social work. Later on, he joined the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and served there from 1980 to 1996.

After joining the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for 18 years, he joined the BJP in 1996 and entered active politics. He was appointed the party's national secretary. Seeing his strong leadership quality the party gave them the national leadership of the Kisan Morcha in 2011.

GL Sharma said that after completing his tenure from 2011 to 2013, the party again gave him the responsibility. By 2015, he did a better job as National President of BJP Kisan Morcha. GL Sharma said that after winning elections from Badli Assembly in 2014, he was given the responsibility of five important ministries like Agriculture, Panchayat, Animal Husbandry in the state government. Which he discharged well. Certainly, the party will get new heights with Om Prakash Dhankar becoming the state president. The expansionist policy of the party will gain momentum.


While congratulating the party workers, GL Sharma thanked the national and state-level leadership along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National President of the party JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, State In-Charge Anil Jain, Chief Minister Manohar Lal.
